David Simpson, Founder
A life-long New Jersey resident, David Simpson has been teaching tech to kids since he was in 12th grade.
After earning a BS and an MS in applied sciences, he took on sales and marketing roles with technology companies.
Still, he was frustrated with the number of America's kids who were failing at math and the sciences.
To those ends, he's developed hands-on educational programs for groups like the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts as well
as institutions like the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey and the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC.
He's been a mentor with a number of groups that have STEM education at their core, including FIRST Robotics and the
Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and has been twice named the CAP's New Jersey Aerospace Education Officer of the Year.
Mr. Simpson has contributed numerous how-to articles to O'Reilly Media's Make Magazine and has exhibited at Maker
Faire on both the east and west coasts. Finally, in 2012, determined to turn around STEM education in a more meaningful way,
he created what would become Innovators Inc.
John Brady, Advisor
John W. Brady, an accomplished executive leader, has deftly guided North American divisions of multinational companies through
the competitive consumer goods landscape while enhancing brand development, product innovation, process improvement, and operating
efficiencies. With decades of executive experience, Mr. Brady has held key roles at a variety of consumer products companies
including C-level positions at RECARO Child Safety, LLC, Fisher-Price, Inc., Casio, Inc., and the Fundimensions division of
General Mills Inc. Mr. Brady currently runs a consumer goods consulting firm, John W. Brady & Associates , LLC.
Having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Wayne State University with co-majors in Journalism and Marketing, and post-graduate
work in Marketing at Wayne State and Finance at University of Michigan, Mr. Brady has built a successful track record of launching
and turning around promising product lines in both the mass distribution and specialty/collectibles market spaces. Mr. Brady has
been able to drive new and incremental growth by exploiting key areas of opportunity and recognizing consumer trends at their
outset. With his greatest strength in strategic planning, marketing and sales management and an eye toward identifying and
developing talent within an organization, Mr. Brady works with entrepreneurs, private equity owners and boards of directors
to make companies more efficient, more focused, more mobile and more successful.
Jed Levinson, Director of Operations
Mr. Levinson is an innovative leader with demonstrable successes in the achievement of aggressive
revenue and profitability targets for world-class retail operations.
As a Store Director and District Manager, his expertise extends across a variety of business segments,
enhancing business development in multi-unit retail environments. His key talents include the orchestration
of major new product launches and anticipating emerging trends. His credentials include accomplishments with
internationally renowned manufacturers and retailers such as Harman, the world's largest audio supplier, Bose,
the second largest audio concern, Fossil, Circuit City and other major chains.
Mr. Levinson achieves the financial goals through the development and direction of high-performance teams in
competitive retail categories. A broad-based operations and sales management professional, he has led culturally
diverse teams and has a proven track record of teaching and reinforcing effective sales and customer service skills.
Respected among his peers, corporate management and subordinates alike for his drive as well as his excellent people
skills and energetic attitude, Mr. Levinson has devoted over 16 years in leadership roles to the achievement of
consistent, positive bottom-line results.
